You Belong in These Photos Too

When you think about newborn photos, it’s easy to picture all those sweet little details—the tiny toes, sleepy stretches, soft cheeks, and the way your baby fits perfectly in your arms.

But a newborn session isn’t only about photographing your baby.

It’s about your family in this brand-new season of life.

I know getting in front of the camera shortly after having a baby may be the last thing on your mind. You might be tired, still recovering, and not quite feeling like yourself yet.

But your baby isn’t going to look back at these photographs and notice any of those things.

They’re going to see you holding them.

They’ll see the way you looked at them, how tiny they were against your chest, and how completely loved they were from the very beginning.

Your Baby Will Never Be This Little Again

Those first few weeks can feel like a blur of feeding, changing, rocking, sleeping (hopefully!), and figuring out your new rhythm together.

Meanwhile, your baby is changing every single day.

That’s why I love capturing more than what your newborn looks like. I want to photograph what this season feels like.

The way mom naturally pulls baby close.

Family Photos Are Part of the Newborn Experience

Of course, we’ll make time for beautiful photographs of your newborn alone and capture all those tiny details you never want to forget.

But we’ll also make space for your family.

You don’t need to know how to pose or worry about what to do with your hands. I’ll guide you so that everything feels natural and comfortable.

All you need to do is show up, love on your baby, and be together.

Because years from now, you won’t only want to remember how tiny your baby was.

You’ll want to remember who you were together when your family was brand new.

And someday, your baby will get to see it too.
